Which Southampton Coworking Space is Right for You?

Coworking spaces across Southampton each offer a unique feel and differing membership options. From Clubworking at the Old Bond Store, to a private office with the Clockwise chain.

So, while you could quite easily find a space through Google if you were already in a major continental city – but what if you weren’t already familiar with the alternative office terms “hybrid work”, “flexible workspace” and “coworking”? At the Design Chapel we welcome everyone through the chapel doors, from people looking for a break from their work from home routine, to working parents that want a separation, and freelancers looking for a coworking community.

There are loads of apps popping up to specifically target this growing commercial industry (find us on coworker), however it still relies on self-promotion and providing valuable information to bring new members to this shift in ways of working. You want to see reviews, photos, and other scraps of evidence of how this shift could improve your working hours… And as we love supporting great causes (aka your best work) we’ve listed 6 coworking spaces and a handy map of Southampton for you to peruse in one place.

A final note from the Design Chapel

A large part of the appeal of coworking is the community… and how do we show that? Websites and Social Media.

At the Design Chapel we love to get creative with our feed, after all, we house a marketing agency upstairs so it’s only right. Here anyone considering using a coworking space can find out exactly what our space might feel like aside from the clear cut (and a little bit empty) photos on our website here.

You might not have known we also make space for local creatives, charities and businesses to host events in our unique venue. It’s a perfect backdrop.
