It’s World Book Day… and we’re supporting Read Easy Southampton

People typically think of children when it comes to World Book Day, but at The Design Chapel we like to think outside the box. Learning to read hugely increases a person’s confidence and can enable them to take a much more active part in their communities and society as a whole 🌎💞

We are super proud to be supporting the newly established Southampton branch of this National charity.

The ReadEasy mission? To provide free, confidential 1:1 adult coaching in a comfortable environment. Fundraising is crucial to their work, and while they get going we’re offering the use of our space for adults to get the skills they need to thrive.

Who are Read Easy?

2.4 million adults in England alone cannot read at all or can barely read. Our vision is for all adults in the UK to have the literacy skills they need to fulfil their potential and live life to the full.
